Our Special Project
We were given an 9 year old Invacare Xterra GT power wheel chair which was upgraded with a power lift. This donation was given to us to either scrap or to try and get it repaired and donate it to someone who needs it. The donors are United States Air Force veterans, and since I am also a USAF veteran we decided that if we can get this repaired that we will donate it to a veterans' organization for their use.
The wheel chair does not run. It appears that the batteries are bad, but we need some expert help on this because the cost is too high for our organization to absorb mistakes. The batteries cost around $120 each, and the wheel chair has a current net worth of $500. We are seeking help from any one that will be able to donate their time and services for this project.
